From humble beginnings...
Most creams only offered temporary relief, leaving skin raw again by the next session. Traditional petroleum-based products were even worse—too greasy for the gym, they made barbells impossible to grip safely. There simply wasn't a solution that provided real recovery while still allowing for consistent, heavy training.
Frustration became a turning point. He wasn’t willing to accept that hand tears were just part of the sport, so he started looking for a better way to manage them. He spent months researching skincare formulations and testing different natural ingredients, looking for a balance that actually worked for high-intensity training. After plenty of trial and error, he developed a blend that didn't just repair the skin, but strengthened it—allowing for harder training sessions without the setbacks.
This wasn't just another cream; it was a solution to a problem we lived every day. After testing the first prototypes of REST+REP, we realized we had found the key to keeping athletes at their full potential, free from the setbacks of torn skin.
Our brand was born from necessity and refined through the grind. We know the frustration of cracked hands because we’ve been there. Our Founder
Carsten has done pretty much any ball sport you can imagine before getting into Crossfit. He was struggling with his hands his entire life and made it his mission to create a better overall solution for athletes that need their hands daily and can't wait multiple days for cracks or blisters to heal.
